About Skills Development Centre

Mission

The mission of the institution is to provide opportunities for and conduct courses, training and consultancy in the areas of education and any other areas as the institution will find useful to the community.

General Objective

The general objectives of SDC is to be a centre of excellence for providing quality education through teaching and training in short and long courses programmes, certificates, Diplomas and Advanced Diplomas, and Consultancy activities.

Higher Studies

The SDC conducts teaching for the Certificates, Diplomas, and Advanced Diplomas, Provides the institute’s own foundation and ancillary courses for higher education in the English Medium. The SDC opens up higher education opportunities at a reasonable cost both Sri Lankan and overseas students in the field of Computing, Management, Mobile Phone Repairing, and English Language Courses.
